We are looking for motivated and passionate psychologists who would like to further their career in our collaborative, client-centred child and adolescent private practice at our Werribee practice in Melbourne's west and Belmont in Geelong.

We offer full-time or part-time employment if your priority is stability and leave entitlements, and we offer contracting agreements for psychologists if you prefer autonomy and independence. All current positions are Werribee or Geelong based (with work from home admin options depending on the role).

Clinical Team Leader - Psychologist (WErribee & geelong)

Clinical Team Leader - Psychologist If you're a psychologist with a track record of either leading a team, business development and strategy, or practice management, then consider this role in our leadership stream. Employment includes a combination of the child, adolescent and parenting consultations you enjoy most, as well as a leadership/management component.
Combine your business and leadership skills with a Child and Adolescent therapy/assessment caseload. Plenty of variety in your week and potential for career growth:
2 days fulfilling management responsibilities
3 days with child and adolescent clinical clients (no more than 5 a day)
The management duties look like this:
Coordinate the recruitment and induction of new Hopscotch & Harmony clinicians
Undertake performance management processes in partnership with the Principal Psychologist including probation reviews, performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes in order to maintain a harmonious workplace
Ensure appropriate documentation such as registration, insurance & contractor agreements are recorded in our HR system
Monthly check-ins with clinical staff to provide administrative supervision and coaching to enhance their success in private practice
Attendance and contribution at Hopscotch & Harmony team and leadership meetings
Management of the clinical team to achieve KPIs
About You
You have demonstrated business and leadership skills from past roles
You want to make an impact on community mental health by leading our clinical team to provide a high quality service
You have demonstrated interest and experience providing child and adolescent therapy in a private practice setting
Given the leadership and supervisory responsibilities of this role, it is preferred (but not essential) that you are a Board-approved Supervisor
You will enjoy working closely with, and collaborating with, our Principal Psychologist who is responsible for clinical supervision and training across the team.
You love systems, processes and helping clinicians understand the administrative and business side of private practice
As an integral part of our leadership team, you will enjoy the influence you will have on the future direction of Hopscotch & Harmony

We offer Full-time, Part-time employment, as well as contracting positions for Psychologists to provide therapy and/or assessments to our child and adolescent clients and their families.

RDOs and 4 day working weeks available - just ask!
No more than 5 client hours scheduled in your diary each day
Therapy focus:
You have demonstrated interest and experience providing mental health support to young people aged 6-18 (or within that range)
Assessments focus:
You embrace a neurodiversity-affirming assessment approach
Autism, ADHD, SLD, Psycho-educational assessments
Experience with assessments including for autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties (e.g., WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, CTOPP-2, ADOS-2, MIGDAS-2)
Minimum one day per week if contracting (could be Saturdays if that suits you)

In this role you will support the professional growth of Hopscotch & Harmony's early career child and adolescent psychologists, including provisional psychologists in our internship program.
This role incorporates an ideal mix of the child, adolescent and parenting consultations that light you up the most, as well as clinical supervision of our team members. We have a small team of supervisors and we provide supervision on supervision to ensure you feel supported in this role.
Our Hopscotch & Harmony supervisors also provide supervision to other group practices and psychologists across Australia so this is definitely possible for you too!
You will need to be a PsyBA-approved supervisor (or eligible to be) to be eligible for this position.

Graduate Program for early career psychologists (General registration)
The Hopscotch & Harmony Psychologist Graduate Program is a 24-month immersion program for early career psychologists (<3 years post-general registration). It gives you the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of working as a paediatric psychologist in private practice.
These are full-time salaried positions
This opportunity is for psychologists with general registration who have excelled in their post-graduate program and are now ready to dive deep in to private practice. This role is for psychologists who wish to gain deeper knowledge and experience working with young people from 4 to 18 years and their families.
