As an empathetic and considerate professional, I strive to provide a safe, warm, supportive,
and non-judgmental therapeutic space, where clients can express themselves freely and gain deeper understanding and insight into their psychological health. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them lead empowered lives. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, phobias, drug and alcohol issues, adjustment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and behavioural difficulties from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I have a particular clinical interest working with children experiencing neurodevelopmental conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, learning disabilities and intellectual disability. My therapeutic approach consists of Neurodiverse Affirming Practise paired with Strength Based Therapy, in order to celebrate and empower individual differences. As a third culture individual myself (Australian born Indian), I understand the challenges one faces when growing up between cultures. Therefore, I am highly passionate about providing culturally informed therapy, where clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds can feel safe, included, and represented. I am currently trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and adopt a holistic approach for each of my clients, by tailoring the sessions to meet the client’s individual needs. Mental health is not just a destination, but a journey you take on, and I would love to be a part of that journey to support you at Hopscotch and Harmony. Additional Languages Spoken:
