Hi there! I’m Liz, a Provisional Psychologist at Hopscotch and Harmony’s Belmont Clinic. ‘Anything that is mentionable can be more manageable’ – Fred Rogers. I truly believe that we talk about our challenges, our thoughts, and our feelings, they become less overwhelming, and together we can start to find solutions. |
I am passionate about providing a warm, non-judgemental space for children and adolescents to come and feel supported in better understanding themselves and their thoughts. But most of all to help them thrive as their most authentic self!
I like to work in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other health professionals to achieve to best outcome possible for each child and their family.
My therapeutic style incorporates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and social skills training, just to name a few.
