Life is unpredictable and full of unforeseen challenges, and it is always okay to ask for help.
Seeking support can be a daunting experience, and I endeavour to make it less so by
beginning from a place of respect, compassion and an open-mind.
I provide support to people of all ages and strive to work collaboratively to reach their goals,
whether that may be with the individual themselves, their families and caregivers, or
educators and support workers.
I draw upon evidence-based approaches and techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and adapt them to suit each person’s unique experience, to build upon existing strengths and abilities, as well as develop new strategies and skills.
My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults in numerous settings, with a particular focus in disability, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability and other developmental disorders, to address concerns around anxiety, depression, challenging behaviours and emotional regulation.
