I mostly work with teenagers and adults and offer a non-judgmental approach, empathy, acceptance and a determination to work towards the things that matter to you.
This can involve improving relationships and the capacity to support others, growing in self-compassion, developing independence and confidence, building strength and resilience to overcome adversity. I use evidence-based strategies to improve mental health, often drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). At the core of this approach is the person. You and I and the work we are doing. The catalyst for change is often discovered with curiosity, collaboration, play and empowerment. For this reason, I prioritize the strengths and values of my clients, focusing on rapport and trust as we plan ahead, build momentum and make change. Professional Highlights and Memberships
