Mental Health Clinician
In my work, I am regularly reminded that we are all unique. One thing we have in common is a lifelong journey with challenges, changes, joy, and everything in between. For many of us, seeking help to improve mental health is a part of this journey and an opportunity to flourish at any age.
I aim to listen. I hope to provide a curious, non-judgmental space for young people and their families to gain insight, develop skills, and make changes that are meaningful. This might include developing coping skills or resilience for stress and anxiety, improved emotional regulation, better connection with others, and self-kindness.
I use a strength-based approach, encouraging creativity, trust, and collaboration. I use evidence-based strategies including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
I have an interest in the role and great value of family, culture and social systems to improve mental health.
