MIGHTY GIRLS Group

Our MIGHTY GIRLS groups incorporate evidence-based practices that promote the learning of social skills and emotional well-being. The psychologist facilitates activities and group discussion in a safe, supportive environment.

Depending on group needs, topics may include social skills & awareness, managing anxiety and shyness, making and keeping friends, dealing with peer pressure, building self-confidence and self-compassion, and developing empathy and a sense of connectedness.

Who is it suitable for?

This program is for girls who experience:
  • Social anxiety and shyness
  • Difficulty making and keeping friends
  • Bullying
  • The feeling that they don't fit in
  • Emotion dysregulation: high levels of worry, anger and overwhelm
  • Feeling badly about who they are
