"Challenges can arise along the way to building happy and healthy families. These challenges can sometimes look like difficult to manage behaviour, emotional outbursts, social withdrawal, or fears and worries about everyday things.
My intention is to work alongside parents, supporting them to help their child flourish. I believe it’s important to shine light on what is working within families; as well as strengthening trust and communication between parent and child so that each person’s voice is heard.
My professional background includes working in primary and secondary schools, educational and developmental psychology clinics, and early intervention programs. I have taught students in the undergraduate psychology program at Deakin University. I have also worked as part of a research team studying the changes that happen in children’s lives across move from childhood to adolescence. These experiences have equipped me with a range of evidence-based practices to support the development of happy and healthy children."
