"Life is full of challenges and sometimes it is difficult to manage them without support. My goal is to help you identify, process and deal with your emotions in a healthy productive way.
As an experienced overseas Psychologist and Psychotherapist, I have worked with adults, adolescents, children and families from different backgrounds to help them navigate challenges and find strategies to live a more fulfilling life. I have experience in different mental health settings, including community mental health, hospitals and private practice.
I am passionate about working with young people and their families, helping them to address a broad range of issues including, but not limited to, perinatal problems, parenthood, anxiety, depression, challenging behaviours, low self-esteem, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
I am particularly interested in early intervention, with a focus on helping children to prevent future psychological problems and to monitor their mental health development. I work alongside parents to provide practical strategies and techniques to better manage difficulties. Therapy in the early years of a child’s life can have a long-lasting impact in their emotional well-being.
Through therapy, I ensure clients feel welcomed to share their feelings and concerns, by providing them with a warm-hearted environment, and approaching every issue from a caring and respectful way.
I apply evidence-based techniques most suited to each individual and families and a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness. I also conduct cognitive/educational assessments.
