“My goal is to create a safe space where everyone can feel supported and understood, allowing them to reach their potential.
I have experience working with adults and children, assisting them through various difficulties. My areas of focus include children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, behavioural challenges, developing social and communication skills, anxiety, depression, and stress management. I work collaboratively with families to set goals and implement strategies to support their child’s challenges.
Working as a psychologist within a school I have learnt how important the counselling space is for children, allowing them to feel comfortable and heard when they otherwise may not have. As well as how to help these children navigate their way through challenging times by providing a positive environment for them to develop emotionally and intellectually, all the while supporting them on their journey of self-growth.
Within this safe, therapeutic environment, I use my skills in behavioural therapy, skills training, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and various other evidence-based therapies, tailoring each to the client’s needs.”
