Everybody deserves an opportunity to work on their mental health in a supportive space that promotes strength and resilience.

I have always felt passionate about supporting people in overcoming their emotional and psychological challenges. I believe that individuals who are seeking support with their mental health are inspiring, as seeking help when we are struggling can be difficult.

Enhancing that strength and drive to achieve better emotional wellbeing is the goal of my interactions with the people I work with. My work focuses on enhancing bravery to discuss one’s thoughts and feelings and in an open and honest way.

Building rapport and creating a space that feels safe for my clients, where their voice is heard and they are encouraged and supported, is a priority. I celebrate achievements and every step towards better mental wellbeing is one to be acknowledged.

I implement evidence-based intervention strategies that often have a grounding in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), relaxation/mindfulness and Play Therapy, among others. I am interested in working with young children, all the way through to adults, with varying presenting concerns and goals. I am particularly interested in working with young people, as I believe being empowered to work through your challenges at a young age fosters an increased ability to cope with difficulties later in life.
